Index-Bank was founded February 10, 1993 in Lviv, a private bank, and registered under the name Commercial Bank of the Golden Lion. " In November 1993, the Bank was reorganized into Joint-Stock Company.
On 28 October 1996 the Bank changed its name to Stock Company "Industrial Export Bank".
Development Bank, the growth of its financial performance and access to the national market have resulted in a decision to relocate the head office of JSC "Index-Bank" from Lviv to Kiev. Already 10 February, 2000 Kiev became the new head office address of the Bank.
In April 2000, JSC "Index-Bank" one of the first banks in Ukraine began to implement the project "Car loans" and is now one of the most active and successful banks involved car.
