In December 2006 Piraeus Bank Bulgaria signed a partnership agreement with ING Bank Bulgaria in the field of retail banking, life insurance and pension products. In 2007 is finalized the acquisition of ING Bank Bulgaria retail portfolio and acquisition of Dirent renamed to Piraeus Best Leasing now.
In the end of March 2009 Piraeus Bank Bulgaria has a branch network, consisting of 99 branches and assets amounting to over EUR 1.9 billion.
